Great job, it’s just unbelievable that it was published in ’60s. it gives so much impressions and insprirations to me! Sam Haskins is one of the best photographers in the world! this book is recently (maybe  october) republished, and used book’s price was too high. only a few book of him is available now. the most book i want is "5 girls", but don’t know how long i have to wait.

this book is some kind of Xmas present for me. and a champagne, moet-et-chandon nectar imperial. merry christmas to me!

it literally means "one encounter, one chance". in a real life we have to live, we don’t have enough choices for ourselves. so we have to do our best every moment for whom we’ll meet someday. to tell the truth, this is the main theme of my pics. i want to do my best, all the times.

일기일회, 일본어로는 이찌고 이찌에라고 한다. 다도에서 나온 말로 일생에 한번 뿐일지도 모르는 인연의 소중함에 대한 격언이다. 맨처음 이 말을 들었을때는 생애에 단  한 번밖에 될지도 모르는 만남을 준비한다는게 무슨 의미가 있을까, 라고 생각했다. 무척 비효율적이다. 자주 만나는 사람을 더 잘 대해주는게 옳지 않나? 그렇지만 진실한 인연임을 확인하는데는 단 한번의 만남으로도 족하기에, 일기일회는 의미가 있는 것이다.

i saw some pics of hiroshi sugimoto in shimane art museum today.
his pics are so fantastic and popular. the reality from 8×10 film is unbelievable, though it’s not real..
