I was wondering where to have lunch in Yamanashi and picked a soba place. Honestly, going to a hoto restaurant would have been the better call, but I couldn’t be bothered with the long line, so soba it was.

It’s 1,000 yen, and this is the only item on the menu.. The soba itself wasn’t bad, but no side dishes and a fixed portion size is a bit..

Anyway, I did enjoy it. But if I had to choose again, I think I’d go with the hoto place.. Still, shouldn’t a typical soba place at least serve a tamagoyaki?.. Eating just soba on its own felt pretty plain…

The garden was fun and the scenery was lovely, so it was decent, but the owner’s way of running the place isn’t exactly typical, so I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
