Jinju Jip in Yeouido is famous for its kongguksu (cold soy milk noodles), but when I go alone it’s always just one bowl of kongguksu and that’s it, which always felt like a missed opportunity. So this time I went with the team.
The line
It wasn’t very long..
Broth
It comes in a whole kettle.
Menu
Kongguksu is now 15,000 won..
Mandu
The mandu are high quality too. They make a great side dish..
Bibim guksu
This bibim guksu is tangy and so good. Probably tasted even better because we went in the heat of summer.
Soup
This is tasty.
Kongguksu
This one is seriously thick. It’s the kind of taste you have to have at least once every summer. But I think it’s even better eaten together with the bibim guksu. It’s a big portion and pretty rich to finish on its own.
The Bull and the Bear
So this was here.
Then we wandered over to The Hyundai Seoul for a stroll.
Satoshi Nakamoto
Who on earth came up with a brand like this..
Benki
I’ve been seeing these everywhere lately. Seems popular..
Gelato cafe
Looked pretty good..
Ceiling
Gelato
Decent enough.
Bakery
There were lots of bakeries that looked delicious..
Grape festival
Breads
Cafe Layered
London Bagel Museum
This place was pretty packed too.
Heart tiramisu
London Bagel Museum
There’s still a bit of a line. It’s the kind of flavor Koreans would like.
