After leaving Sam’s Club I wandered around the streets for a while.. It was still way too early for dinner.
This kind of vibe
It made me think people work downtown and live in areas like this.
The street
First of all, the roads are wide, probably because it’s a planned city.
Buildings
The whole ground floor is restaurants.
Probably a university, I think..
The street
Buildings
Even heading out toward the outskirts, new buildings are lined up everywhere.
There are buildings way off in the distance too..
It really drove home how many people live here.
KFC
Some anime or game seems to be popular..
It says something like Moutai Jiangxiang Wanjia..
If there’s a place selling Moutai, the neighborhood around it must be well off..
The road
It feels like a blend of the tropics and the modern city.. the trees are all huge..
A delivery rider wearing a crab hat
I took this because it was fun. You can see apartment blocks way off in the distance too.. but there was no way I could walk that far, so I turned back around here..
A park
The park was enormous too.. I thought, so this is what a real planned city looks like..
Point the camera anywhere..
Delivery is so much a part of daily life that a delivery scooter ends up in the shot.
A construction site
And buildings are still going up all the time..
A greenway?
It looks like they deliberately built a walking path here.
No idea what it is, but it looked fancy so I took a photo.
Judging by the sign saying cordyceps, maybe it’s a traditional medicine shop..
The sign said ‘Mala Awakening’, so I took a photo wondering what it was.
They seemed to have a huge variety of beers.
A bookstore
I just took this because it looked cool. There were lots of places I wanted to pop into, but I was out of time so I headed back. Everywhere is so spread out that I’d love to get around by bike.. but I wonder how you’d handle the phone verification..
