COCO Park, a Shopping Mall in Shenzhen, Part 1

Right in the center of Shenzhen there’s an enormous shopping mall. Even the station is named Shopping Park. It was really easy to find.

Arrival

It’s connected directly to the subway. Once you arrive, you see clothes, accessories and so on.

There’s a North Face too..

Coco shopping park.

I did wonder what the difference is from Starfield in Korea..

There’s a bakery too..

Coco shopping park.

The quality isn’t anything amazing, though..

There’s sushi as well.

Coco shopping park.

Sushi seemed to be quite a bit more popular than I expected.

The number of waiting chairs is no joke.. that Chinese scale..

Baseus

There are a lot of brands that are famous in Korea too. They have pretty much everything and plenty of curious gadgets, but since all of it has come to Korea by now, it didn’t really pique my interest.

Rou Rou Da Mi

Coco shopping park.

This looks like a Japanese-style hamburg steak place, apparently the Chinese version of Hikiniku to Come. I didn’t expect something like this to have made it here already.. It was pretty popular too.

Shanghai noodle place

Coco shopping park.

There were no good Shanghai-style restaurants around my hotel, but here at the mall there is one.. It seems like if you come to a place like this, you can try roughly all the famous restaurants from across the country.

Looks like a French fry place..

Looks like a fried chicken place..

Dried fruit shop

Coco shopping park.

China is definitely good at drying fruit. The color and sheen are just different.. I guess you could say food with history comes with guaranteed quality..

The view once I stepped outside

Coco shopping park.

The surroundings are a forest of buildings..

One more bakery

Coco shopping park.

This one seemed a bit better than the earlier one..

There’s a Uniqlo too..

Coco shopping park.

Adidas and Calvin Klein as well..

Coco shopping park.

I honestly wondered what was different from Korea..

Venchi

Coco shopping park.

They have chocolate too.

Apartment scenery

A bibimbap specialty restaurant I found while walking down the street

Coco shopping park.

Japanese food is very common, but you see Korean food now and then too. Bibimbap in particular seems popular. I kept spotting it here and there..
