Posting a bit of this and that.

It’s nice.
Living as a Planner
You can see almost all of this book’s content on Instagram, so I’m not sure it’s really worth buying, but it’s related to my job so I bought it, and the content itself is fun. You could say it tells you what planning actually is.
Roasted cashews in the shell
Turns out they sell these on Naver. They don’t taste quite as good as the ones I bought and ate in Cambodia, though. And it turns out there are places in Korea that sell these too. I’ll just check the price and buy a reasonable amount.
PANET Bakery
No idea whether it tastes good, but the design is pretty.
NIKKE x Stellar Blade collab
Hongdae seems to be getting more otaku these days. Which is to say, I like it.
Incredibelt
One of the best things I bought this year. It’s a lumbar cushion belt. Putting a cushion on your chair is fine, but sometimes it just doesn’t fit your body, whereas this belt adjusts with air, so you can fit it exactly to your body. When I went to buy one, it was sold out on the official site. There were a few on eBay so I ordered a batch of them, but now you can’t find them on eBay either. I honestly can’t understand why such a great product was discontinued. That said, this lumbar cushion belt has its problems too: once you sweat, it starts to smell terrible right away. And it’s not like you can wash it, either; you can only wipe the outside by hand. So it’s not easy to use in summer when you sweat a lot. Well, you can use it with the air conditioning on, but it’s hard to put it on right after coming back from being out. And it made me realize that no matter how good your chair is, in the end you need something like this to get that final, perfect fit to your body. After all, even the most expensive chair isn’t made to fit your body exactly.
ZAMST compression stockings
I bought these because I heard they’re good to wear on long trips, but forget travel, if you sit and work for long hours, this product seems like a must. It hugely improves swelling in your body. Seriously, why did I only find out about this now? It’s my second-best product of the year. However, wearing these for a long time gave me heat rash too. So I switched to a slightly looser pair instead of a really tight one, and that seems more or less fine. On the other hand, if they’re not the fully tight version, you sometimes get an uneasy feeling that they’re slipping down. But I think that’s better than having problems from them being too tight.
Laforgue
A book of Laforgue’s famous poems translated into Japanese. In Korea, Laforgue’s poetry collections are completely out of print, so I bought it out of curiosity about how they translated them.
ZAMST mask
I bought this because I needed it for running and cycling, but I haven’t been cycling much lately so I never get to use it. Maybe I’ll have a use for it next year.
Karen Tokita’s autobiography
I bought this because I heard a bossa nova singer I like had written an autobiography, but… hmm… I’m not sure. I get that she’s been divorced twice and lived a turbulent life, but… Anyway, the photos came out beautifully.
Balance On’s new cushion
It’s a fairly high-quality cushion, but I still don’t know whether it’s better to use a cushion like this or to use a mesh chair. Because even a premium cushion like this often breaks down after a year of use, and non-premium ones don’t even last a few months. In the end, if you think about value for money, going straight for an expensive mesh chair is actually better, but if you make that jump, the chair gets far too heavy and hard to manage. Anyway, this newly released cushion performs pretty well, so I’m using it happily. The problem is durability; if it just holds up for about two years, that’s more than enough for the price, but we’ll see.
