Yeongdong Seolleongtang is a place I go to often, and it turns out they recently renovated.

The exterior

The food is part of why this place is famous, but I think what really does it is the parking. Having a parking lot this size in Gangnam is no small thing.

Inside

It used to feel a bit sticky and grubby, but now it’s very clean. Some people probably like that old-school-joint atmosphere, but I’m the opposite: I prefer it hygienic like this.

But it actually tasted better than before. Maybe that’s because it had been a while, or maybe because the place got cleaner.

Menu

Seolleongtang isn’t cheap here anymore. Compared to what I used to pay, it feels like a different era. Still, now that it’s clean, I’ll probably drop by now and then when I get the chance.
