It opened in Shinsegae Gangnam. I don’t have much reason to be in Gangnam these days, so I probably won’t be buying anything, but it’s good to know it’s there.

I heard they sell ice cream with alcohol in it, so I was curious and went, but they hardly ever seem to be open.. I’d think keeping your posted business hours is the bare minimum for a business owner.. Seems like someone running it as a hobby..

Noticed this while walking by and thought, oh, there’s a place like this here too. The bread isn’t really my style, but it struck me how many bakeries there are these days, so I took a photo.

Spaghetti Story, the neighborhood pasta place

It’s not that it tastes bad, but it’s a carb overload.

The peanut butter that got famous on Twitter thanks to the owner’s kid promoting it.

Everyone said it was good so I bought a jar.. It isn’t sweet at all, it’s basically just peanuts. It tastes like it’ll make you very healthy, but it’s a bit bland on its own, and apparently people usually eat it with apples.. Anyway, it’s a decent item for health-conscious folks, and it goes well with rye bread too.. Seems fine for a light breakfast.. It is a bit dry and stiff, though. They say you can keep it at room temperature, but that’s also a bit of a hassle..

This is a tofu that also got famous on Twitter.

Not sure about the jelly part, but it crumbles less and is seasoned all the way through, so it tastes good.. When you make something like kimchi jjigae, the tofu doesn’t take on much flavor at first, but this one is tasty even then.. At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if a big company came out with a copycat tofu soon.

Lumbar pillow

This has been surprisingly good for my back. It’s best to use a size that fits your own back, and this one is adjustable and made of latex, so it has some bounce. It’s pricey, but worth it if your mattress isn’t great. Maybe because I use a proper mattress too, it doesn’t help me that much, but it seems like a great thing to take along on trips.

Enzymedica Digest

These are digestive enzymes. Digestive enzymes decrease as you age, and supplementing with these makes my stomach feel more comfortable. Got to live a long, healthy life with a little help from the progress of science and medicine.
