I spent some time wandering the streets of Myeongdong.

10-won bread

This turns out to be surprisingly popular with tourists.. Maybe it’s because there’s cheese inside and it tastes sweet.. It feels like an upgraded version of the bread we already had. But why ten won.. I have no idea, but if it tastes good, that’s good enough, isn’t it..

Wappen House

It’s so hugely popular in Myeongdong that they’ve opened a fourth or fifth branch by now. I do wonder how everyone finds out about places like this.

Patches

There are loads of fun designs. I imagine they make a nice souvenir of a trip.

The shop attaches the patches for you. That must be why it’s so popular.. And the prices aren’t all that high either..
