When it comes to naengmyeon places, some people will tell you Woo Lae Oak is the best, or that Pyeongyang Myeonok is the one to go to.. but they are a high hurdle when you are trying to take a group somewhere. In that sense Neungrado in Gwanghwamun is a good one to know about, since you can eat good naengmyeon there without a reservation.

First, the bulgogi..

The quality of the meat is good. At this level I would say there is not much difference from Woo Lae Oak.

Cooked through properly..

It tastes a little like sukiyaki, and I doubt there are many people who would dislike it.

The naengmyeon came out after the meat, and the quality is good. Honestly, there were not all that many customers at the time we were eating, but the quality had not dropped off at all. I can only be grateful.

To think that a naengmyeon place at Neungrado’s level is running this quietly.. it makes me wonder if this is the crisis small businesses are going through these days.. In any case, I got to eat well and very comfortably, so I was happy.
