I heard a rumour that a Starbucks had opened near Gyeongdong Market, so I went to take a look.

They were running a pop-up right at the entrance to the Starbucks. The thing is, that entrance sits in a spot that is not at all easy to find. Even with a map in hand I spent ages looking for it. You have to go up to the second floor from the middle of the market and head inside from there.

I never imagined they would turn a space this big into a cafe.

They have built a huge cafe right in the middle of town. The place is hard even to find, and yet it was packed to bursting. This, I suppose, is how business is done.
