Wait, so this shop isn’t the flagship, they opened a branch inside Isetan.. that felt oddly surprising. I remember the mango pudding being good.

Pain Maison, the shio-pan specialist

It’s in Ginza, and it turns out you can’t buy the bread unless you put in a reservation in advance. I should have come here first thing, but I didn’t know how it worked and left empty-handed. I’ll get it right next time.
