It is a cake shaped exactly like a strawberry, and it really is pretty.

Butter no Itoko

The sweets that were such a hit up on the Nasu Highlands have made it to Tokyo. I looked to see whether they had the granola I like, but no luck there. Either way, it is impressive to watch them keep growing.

Kona to Spice

“Shiawase, Curry Pan” — happiness, curry bread — is the slogan.. They seem to be doing something together with Butter no Itoko.

Brown Cheese Brother

This one looks like it is from Butter no Itoko as well. They just keep trying interesting things.

Centre the Bakery, Aoyama

They open in the morning, but I had no time to drop in, so I skipped it. Anyway, it seems you no longer have to go all the way to Ginza to buy their bread.

Hamburg YOSHI

There was a huge queue outside this place too, over in Aoyama.. It is a hamburg steak restaurant with much the same concept as Hikiniku to Come. That sort of thing is wildly popular right now.

The park at Gaienmae

Apparently Choo Sung-hoon lives around this neighbourhood.. It is a nice part of town.

Yakitori Imai

This place is supposed to be really good, but of course I could not get a reservation, so I never made it inside.. Next time I will have to book ahead.. Though now that I am older, even that feels like a hassle.

The Lemon Sour of the Future

People said it was quite a novelty, so I bought one..

Pop the lid and a slice of lemon floats up.

That is showmanship, though — the taste itself is just so-so, not bad and no more. It does put you in a good mood, I suppose?
