A seat cushion
I bought a 6cm-thick cushion, and it is honestly a bit uncomfortable.. around 4cm seems to be the sweet spot.. Still, a cushion has to have some thickness to be worth anything, so it beats the thin ones by a mile. I bought it on Amazon, then found out it sells for much less on AliExpress, which was a bit of a shock.. Feels like every Japanese brand is doing this these days..

It is Amazon’s own fexofenadine generic, and it is cheap.. I take it all the time, so buying in bulk seems like the way to go.
Flunase, good for hay fever
This is one of those steroid nasal sprays everybody talks about now, and apparently it has almost no side effects despite being a steroid. In Korea you need a doctor’s prescription to get it, but in Japan you can just buy it online. Going to the doctor is a hassle, so I keep a stock of it on hand.. Korea seems to sell mometasone and Japan fluticasone, and I honestly cannot say which is better.. From my own experience, though, fluticasone feels a little easier to use..
The Brazilian flea market in Arai
A lot of Brazilians live in this area, and they hold an event every weekend. There is not all that much to see, but it was novel enough that I went along. Everyone has come this far from home and is working hard at life, you find yourself thinking..
