Solo Pizza Napoletana, a pizzeria in front of Nagoya Station

I tried to have pizza for lunch, struck out because there were no seats, and took another run at pizza in the evening.

The entrance

Solo pizza napoletana.

Here you can at least get in if you queue up. But it is right in front of the station, so there were tons of people. Best to avoid the busy hours if you can.

The flour

The ham slicer

Something about it looked great.

They sell frozen pizza too.

The counter

Wall decorations

Solo pizza napoletana.

The interior is nicely put together.

Pulcinella

Solo pizza napoletana.

A pizza topped with truffle and porcini. The truffle aroma was strong and the seasoning bold, so it was seriously good. Total beer food, so I had one. The tray is disposable, but with a place this popular I could see how that is the more efficient way to do it.

Margherita

Solo pizza napoletana.

This one was solidly good as well.

Cosacca

Solo pizza napoletana.

This is a margherita with the cheese left off, and I ordered it by mistake. I think the biggest problem when you come to a pizzeria is ending up with overlapping flavours, and having to order from a kiosk screen threw me off a bit.

Minestrone

Solo pizza napoletana.

So-so

Mini fritto wrapped in pasta

Solo pizza napoletana.

This one was so-so too.

It seems like a good place to visit when you feel like wood-fired pizza. But the line is far too long, so next time I should look up somewhere I can book in advance.
