This was my first time at a cat cafe. I had no idea which one would be good, so I picked one more or less at random, and it turned out not to be an easy place to find. The cafes that are easy to get to are inevitably on the small side, so hunting for a bigger one is probably how I ended up heading deeper in.

Apparently there are around fifty cats here; some are resting further inside, and this is about how many are out front.

Just sitting still is enough for the cats to come to you. If anything, there were far too many cats asking to be petted.

Something I only learned this time: with cats too, the young ones are full of curiosity and love rough, energetic play, while the older ones are aloof and act unimpressed no matter what you do.. a different energy level, I suppose.. being young really is the better deal, it seems.. Anyway, a cat cafe where you can heal a little while petting cats has to be good for your mental health too. The one catch is that you pick up a lot of fur, so it is probably best to go wearing clothes you can throw straight in the wash.
