Avocado oil, bought because it is supposed to be good for you

Combini 202402.

The taste is nothing special.. olive oil really is the best, I think..

Shoes and a massage gun I bought on Temu

Combini 202402.

The massage gun is fine as far as it goes, but when I actually use it I can never get into a decent position.. It would be great if someone did it for me, but doing it on yourself is not easy, so I end up hardly using it. The shoes, on the other hand, I love completely, and I figured I can just keep buying from Temu. Barefoot shoes need to be wide across the ball of the foot and to flex well, and cheap is a bonus (since they wear out fast), and these fit that exactly. Buying barefoot shoes has always been such a struggle, and who would have thought China would solve it.. They even have every size..

Ebisu toothbrushes

Combini 202402.

These are the toothbrushes I bring back whenever I go to Japan, and now Emart Trade has started selling them too. That is good news as well.

Parmigiano Reggiano cheese

Combini 202402.

The cheese is cut into small snack-size pieces, so it is great for nibbling. Flavour-wise it is the packed-with-umami style. Trade seems to be benchmarking Costco pretty hard.

Fried pollack skin twigak

Combini 202402.

Other than the strong fishy smell, it was decent enough to eat.

Kimchi-flavoured gim bugak (crispy seaweed chips)

Combini 202402.

It tastes a lot like kimchijeon, which I liked. Something to snack on with makgeolli, I suppose.. It would make a good gift too, but surprisingly Japanese people are not great with spicy food.. Anyway, if only so I can eat it myself, I think I will be buying it a few more times.
