Tamna Doyaji is probably one of the most popular samgyeopsal joints in Korea.

This is the place.

You might not think so from the outside, but it is open 24 hours and always packed with people. I had never seen a place this popular, so I really wanted to go.

The freebies are no joke. Even at a meat restaurant, having this much come out is great. And it is good for cleansing the palate when you are eating something rich.

Samgyeopsal

The quality of the meat is good. With meat like this there is no way it could taste bad. And it is not just fresh, the price is very reasonable too. These days other places charge as much as 20,000 won per serving, but here it is 16,000 won, so I am satisfied.

Usamgyeop (thin-sliced beef brisket)

If you order three portions they throw in usamgyeop on the house, and since two of us are going to eat three portions anyway, we went straight for three from the start. They really know how to run a business.

The one thing I slightly regretted about ordering three portions is that so many side dishes came out that even two portions would have filled us up.. Can the value really be this good? I was genuinely surprised. This is exactly why people line up.

Ice cream

For dessert you can even have ice cream. Perfect right down to the finish. To think a place like this existed in this world.. I was blown away, and next time I will have to show up with my body and mind properly prepared.
