Here are some photos from Dotonbori.
Kukuru
As always, the crowds are huge.
Kani Doraku
It was under repair.
Kobe beef
I have no idea what the scallop and Spider-Man are about.
Another Kani Doraku branch
There are a lot of branches even just within Dotonbori.
Kinryu Ramen
Still packed with people. Next time I’d like to have a bowl.
Kamukura Ramen
It feels like it’s gotten a bit cleaner.
A kissaten
So there’s a place like this here.
Ferris wheel
Uchi no Ramen in Amemura
It’s part of the chain behind the ramen shop Jinrui Mina Menrui, and the manager turned out to be misono, an idol who was famous back in the day. I don’t know how the food is, but I hope it does well.
A kissaten in Amemura
The illustration was cute, so I took a photo.
A kissaten I came across on the way
The parfaits look lovely.
Rikuro Ojisan’s shop
It’s famous for cheesecake, but the line is way too long. I wasn’t going to buy any right then, so I just took a photo.
Osaka Station
Scenery
Osaka has picked up some new buildings too.
The plaza
Osaka has so many places to go that it’s hard for a tourist to see them in a short visit. You just have to walk past thinking “ah, so they built something here.”
