Now that COVID is over, the hanabi is being held regularly again.

There are just too many people, so the plan is to get there early and eat early.. Honestly, if I were on my own I would buy food in advance and never queue at stalls like these, but that is not how it goes..

Apparently they sell a chicken katsu burger specially on this day. Probably because it still tastes good once it has cooled down.

It was good enough. The plain hamburger would surely have been tastier, but it is hanabi, so I should be happy with this much.

The hanabi does not start until it gets dark, and by then photos never come out well, so from that point on I just watched. Even though it was the first hanabi since COVID, it ended in good order with no accidents.
