Osaka USJ Trip Report part.5 Minions’ Happiness Cafe

When you come to an amusement park like this, it’s best to eat lunch a bit early. I’d been walking around all morning and was worn out, so I just ducked into a place where the line looked short.

A place like this

It had a really strong American feel to it.

The menu

You have to put down about 2,000 yen a head to eat here. And it’s all self-service. Feels like USJ must be making good money off this.

Hmm… just so-so.

Still, the drinks were free refills, so it was nice being able to rest as long as I wanted. It seems like a good spot to duck into when you’ve been walking around all morning and need a break. Honestly, if it hadn’t rained that day I could have just ordered from a food truck and eaten on a bench, but that wasn’t really doable.

Minions banana toss

It’s a game where you throw a banana into a basket and win a big Minion plush… not easy, but there were people pulling it off.
