Since I was out in Yeongdeungpo anyway, I got curious about what Mullae is like these days and went to take a look.
On the way
It’s an industrial district, and it always used to feel a bit bleak and desolate, but that feeling is completely gone now..
Shops
I have no idea what any of them are, I just snapped away.
Alley
Coffee shop
There were tons of people. It’d be interesting to compare it with Seongsu.
Street
Shop
Street
Cafe
Mullae Bang-A
RUST Bakery
Croissants
I went in the evening so there wasn’t much left, but the breads were all nice and big.
Stairs going up
The place is quite a size.
Shop
Geumeum Jokbal
Even a jokbal joint has a queue here.
Tea house
There were a lot of places with a nice atmosphere. It used to be just bars and date spots as far as I remember, so when did it change this much..
Cafe
Even a block further in from Mullae-dong there’s a big, stylish cafe like this. The way this neighborhood has come along is dazzling.
