Wasabeef with the most wasabi ever
It’s a Wasabeef that blows your sinuses wide open, but I don’t think there’s any need to eat it this spicy. It’s a novelty product, really…
Seven-Eleven’s raisin sandwich
It looked good so I picked one up, and it’s tasty.
From the side
Japanese rum raisin desserts never disappoint.
Salami sando cheese
A drinking snack. I bought it to go with a drink, and it’s pretty good.
Cassis orange, non-alcoholic
It’s a juice, but it comes across as a fairly rich one.
Orangette
To think you can buy orangette at a convenience store too… But it’s a bit small and the orange content is low, so it was just so-so…
Suntory lemon sparkling
It has a lemon flavour, so I think it would work well for making a lemon sour.
Apple nodo-ame
The apple flavour was strong.
Sansho sakiika
Bought this as a drinking snack too.
A rum ball I brought back from Yokohama
Rum balls really are great value as a dessert. They’re big, and the rum flavour comes through clearly. Whenever I spot one I end up buying it.
Kanzen Meshi
It’s supposed to mean a nutritionally perfect meal… but it’s heavy on carbs and short on dietary fibre, so I’m not sure “Kanzen Meshi” is really the right word… Taste-wise it was just an ordinary abura soba.
