While wandering around Ginza I spotted a new place doing clam-broth ramen, so I dropped in.

And this is the ramen you get

But… something is off… This is definitely a clam-broth ramen, yet there is way too much pepper in it. Hitting a clear soup like this with the bite of black pepper… why on earth would anyone do that?

Chashu rice bowl

Smothered in pepper over here as well… The underlying flavour is decent, but the pepper gets in the way and you can’t really taste it properly. Running a ramen shop with that sort of judgement… I wonder if it will still be there next time I come by.

This place is doing fine too, but the opening hours have got much shorter.

Their hours have got drastically shorter here too.
