Samyang Ramyun Original Rice
I bought it thinking it was fried rice, but.. it feels more like rice stirred into ramyun broth with the bare minimum of everything else? I can see they worked to keep the ramyun flavour alive, and that is exactly why it doesn’t feel much like fried rice. The taste itself isn’t bad, but I suspect it’s a love-it-or-hate-it thing.
Emoi Rice Noodles
Hmm..
Oh dear..
The flavour is good, but it costs 3,500 won and there isn’t a scrap of meat to be seen. Even allowing that the packet photo is only a serving suggestion, this felt like a bit much.
Shiitake mushroom chips
They have a lovely savoury depth, so I end up buying them now and then.
Hijiki tofu snack.
There seem to be a lot of tofu-based snacks coming out lately.. I think I eat them for the nutrition rather than the taste.. (Not that they’re amazing for you.. the protein content is at least on the higher side..)
Omori Kimchi Pork Jjim
It was just okay, edible enough..
