There was an enormous crowd outside Seungwoo Appa’s Kitchen Maillard. No idea why.. looks like it’ll be a good while before I get around to going myself..

Special gomtang

No off-flavours, good quality meat.. this is, without a doubt, gomtang of an excellent standard.

Naepo muchim, seasoned beef offal

Unlike the yang muchim at Buminok, this one is chewy and sweet-and-sour. It would be perfect with soju. The nicely ripened kimchi here is good too, and the only shame is how fast it disappears. Well.. from the point of view of a consumer like me, more good gomtang places opening can only be a good thing. The only pity is that these days I rarely have a reason to go all the way out to Apgujeong.
