I was getting tired of eating samgyeopsal every single time.. so I figured I’d try skewers for a change, and the place I ended up at was Gongdan Galbi Kkochi.

The setup

The prices don’t exactly feel as cheap as samgyeopsal, but eating it off skewers is nice and tidy.. and on top of that, the lamb skewer places around Gangnam Station are always so packed you can’t get in, while this place had plenty of room between the tables, which was great. In the age of Covid, that’s thinking about your health and not just the taste..

It’s the same system as a lamb skewer joint, the only difference being that it isn’t lamb. Eating it, well, it’s not bad at all.
