I’d heard that a place called Dallae Haejang was famous, so I went to try it.
The place
It turned out to be right next to Hyundai Mart. It’s a big place, and it was packed with people.
The menu
Oddly enough, there was no country-of-origin labelling.. and judging by the amount of meat you get, I doubt it’s hanwoo.
The table
Nice and modern.
Special haejangguk
A clean, refreshing style of haejangguk. There’s a serious amount of beef in there, which makes it fun to eat. That said.. within the haejangguk genre.. some people prefer the tough, hearty style of a Yangpyeong haejangguk, so I’d say just go with whatever suits your own taste.
