creamlabel’s strawberry cream cake

The cake was good. A strawberry cream cake is the kind of thing that cannot taste bad if you use decent cream and pile big strawberries on top, but places like Paris Baguette have levelled the whole genre down, so there do not seem to be many shops doing it properly. (A Paris Baguette cake is in the 20,000-won range..) That does feel like a shame sometimes. So whenever I get invited to a birthday party, I tell them I will be the one bringing the cake..

Old Ferry Donut

I had heard the donuts here were good, so I gave it a try. I am not a donut person, but I thought there might be some new frontier out there that I did not know about.

Butter Pistachio donut

It is sweet. It is big. And it costs a fair bit. I can tell it is a well-made donut, and I think I can see why someone would love it, but it is a lot for me to take on.
