Even if I go to Japan for a month.. two weeks of it are spent in quarantine, so there’s simply no room for traveling around or going out to eat. A bit of a shame, but that’s life..

Every now and then I ride out to Odaiba for the exercise. Going by bike makes for just the right workout..

Plenty of people had bad things to say about the Olympics, but well.. once they actually happened, everyone seemed happy enough.

Surprisingly, quite a few places were open and there were plenty of souvenirs worth buying. It made me think the COVID era might finally be coming to an end.

Arrivals duty-free
It was surprisingly well stocked. The one problem is that if you bring liquor back from Japan, whatever you buy in Korea gets added on top of it.. I really wish I’d found out sooner that an arrivals duty-free had opened.
