I felt like taking a trip, so off to Gotemba I go. While I’m at it I’ll buy some clothes too, killing two birds with one stone. These days it’s hard to buy clothes unless you go to an outlet mall.

Mt. Fuji sits right in front of you from the hotel lobby. That’s the one thing only this hotel can offer.

Honestly, the hotel feels a bit pricey for what the facilities are. But with a view like this, you just can’t not go.

It’s a really small room, which is a bit of a letdown, but you can see Mt. Fuji straight from the room. Let’s just call it a hotel for soaking up the energy of Mt. Fuji.

the Gotemba outlets after a long time

Gotemba Premium Outlets has expanded up the hill, so the view of Mt. Fuji is even better now. It was already huge to begin with. And with the expansion a lot of good places to eat moved in as well.
