Around Mukho Port there was a place selling some kind of octopus jjamppong, and the line outside it was long. This neighborhood seems to have turned into quite the tourist spot.

Doshieobu

A local recommended it, but from the outside I couldn’t really tell what was supposed to be so good about it.

Maeuntang (spicy fish stew)

But wow, the fish in the maeuntang was sweet. They seem to be using a good wild-caught one, and it’s been a long while since I had maeuntang this tasty. There really is no beating a local’s inside knowledge.

Jeotgal (salted seafood)

The menu

I should come back here some evening for the wild-caught sashimi. A place like this, rather than the one with the line outside, is the real find.
