Konbini time, here again..
Every convenience store sells clam chowder, and it’s a flavor I absolutely love.
Clam chowder is good, shellfish-broth ramen is good.. it all tastes great to me.
Nissin Raoh Aka Tantan
It was pretty tasty. Not spicy at all for a Korean, and I especially liked the noodles with Sichuan pepper kneaded into them.
Shizen Shokkan CHiA chia seed biscuits with cheese
Chia seeds may be good for you, but once you turn them into a biscuit the nutritional balance is completely wrecked. Blueberry jam is another one of those.. I sacrificed myself so that nobody else gets conned into buying this kind of thing.
Demon Slayer Chicken Ramen abura soba
I’m a Demon Slayer fan.. so I bought it out of pure fandom, but the taste was pretty ordinary..
Chicken chanko nabe
Konbini food these days has a nicely balanced nutrition profile, which is great. If you want to stay healthy you should be buying your meals at a convenience store.
A pasta supervised by chef Yoshimi Hidaka of Acqua Pazza..
Hmm.. did he sell his soul..
Yaro Ramen supervised: Ninniku Mashimashi Shirunashi Yaro
I get a craving for Jiro-style ramen on a regular basis, so I gave it a try — and they reproduced it well.
Seven-Eleven’s protein-packed chicken breast salad
Convenience store salads really do have good nutritional balance. I wish Korea would put a bit more thought into this too.
Q・B・B Cheese Dessert, rum raisin
Above average.
