Last time I rode up toward Jeollyu-ri, so this time I tried the other side of the Han River and headed for Ilsan.

I got lost a lot along the way.. the layout of the bike paths around Haengjusanseong is confusing for a first-timer.. though thanks to that I got to take some lovely scenery shots, so maybe it worked out..

People are surprised when I tell them I cycled from Seoul to Ilsan.. but it’s really not that far.. if you take the shortest route, anyway..

On the way home that day I took another wrong turn.. I was supposed to follow the Han River but ended up going toward Goyang.. by the time I made it back the sun had already set.. well, whatever.. people grow by going through a bit of hardship, right..
