Homemade jjajangmyeon

Thanks to Aha Bujang I’ve started cooking all kinds of things at home, and jjajangmyeon is one of them. It’s not as hard to make as I thought. Once I actually made it, I realised I no longer need to go hunting around out there for good jjajangmyeon. I don’t know how Aha Bujang is doing these days after he was outed as an Ilbe user, but either way he helped me a lot.

Cake from Mont St. Clair

Among the cake shops you don’t need a reservation for, this has to be close to the top. Cakes are hard to carry around, so the shop’s location matters too, which is why I seem to end up going to the same places every time.

Samgyetang

The baekban place I go to a lot served samgyetang because it was boknal, one of the dog days of summer. I hadn’t given it a thought, but now I find myself marking the dog days.

Boor Chicken

A chicken place I go to a lot in Sinnonhyeon, and the menu is fun. If you go at night you can enjoy all sorts of snacks with your drinks.

Scones

Scones baked by one of my coworkers — seriously good work.
