American is closed on weekends so I never had a chance to go, but I happened to be around the area and picked some up.

Even on a weekday the line is long. Eating in still takes a while, but takeout moves pretty fast.

This place is famous for using Pelican bread, so the taste is a sure thing.. but the sheer volume is unreal. I nearly burst my stomach. Once is enough for this experience, I think.
