Nikusoba Gon is a soba shop that always has a long line, even though the prices are not cheap. It is produced by Yazawa Meat, a well-known meat processing company.
the entrance
It looks small from the outside, but it is really spacious inside. The line was long, but the tables turned over fast, so I got in sooner than I expected.
the recommended menu
A nikusoba small & a shibire soba small with a wagyu menchi-katsu, plus a miso soba – I ordered exactly what they recommend. I will skip the explanation..

how to eat the soba..
I will skip the explanation..
miso soba
They say they use Hokkaido miso, and it tasted a lot like an ordinary miso ramen.
thick noodles
Almost at tsukemen level.
the spicy soba and the regular nikusoba
The nikusoba, this place’s signature dish, had a flavor that went really well with the beef. No wonder it is popular. The shibire soba was decent too. The meat is more the main event than the soba, but even so the combination is fun. If you are a purist soba fan, I do not think it is worth going out of your way for. If you like tsukemen, you will probably enjoy it more.
wagyu menchi-katsu
This one was really tasty. I highly recommend it, though it is very greasy.
inside the shop
It gets seriously crowded at lunch. The prices are steep, but it was a place worth visiting.
