I heard a new landmark building had gone up in Shibuya, so I went to have a look. These days a new building means plenty of places to eat and plenty to see, which is great. I guess Roppongi Hills was such a success that the same formula keeps getting repeated.
this place
It’s close to the station… but it’s far. Shibuya is such a maze that getting there isn’t all that easy.
Mori Yoshida Paris, the dessert shop on the first floor
The Mont Blanc is the famous one, but this day I had no time to grab any to go…
Echire
I can’t believe Echire has opened a branch here…
Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse
There’s an expensive chocolate shop too…
Philippe Conticini
They’ve gathered nothing but the very best dessert shops…
the observation deck
Well… it’s the same Shibuya I always see, so I skipped the observation deck.
the view
Nice.
Moheji, the French monja place
the view
a sister shop of Bread, Espresso &, something-presso 2
There’s a bakery like this here too…
Thierry Marx
And another bakery…
inside
Shibuya is a trek, but with this much gathered in one place it looks worth the trip…
