I’d gone all this time without knowing it, but there are quite a few good places to eat around Hyochang Park. (Wonhyorim?) On a clear autumn day I went out to the Hyochang Park area for a look around.autumn leavesthe pondAfter wandering around a while I came back down and stopped in at Hanseongok. One of the three great haejangguk of Yongmun-dong, was it..HaejanggukThere’s a big hunk of bone in there. Tastes good too.. I found myself thinking this might be the number one of the three great haejangguk. The other places are tasty as well, so what I mean is that this one suits my taste..The owner here is quite a character.. hmm.. well.. it made me wonder whether that side of it is part of the secret to this place’s popularity..Ours BlancHaving come all the way to Hyochang Park, there was no way I could skip Ours Blanc, the flagship of Yeoseotsi Oven. Until now it had never occurred to me to come all the way to Hyochang Park to buy bread..breadbreadNice atmosphere, plenty of people.. a textbook thriving bakery.. It made me wonder whether this neighborhood really had that kind of demand.. probably the result of the Yongsan area developing.
