I have no idea why, but Hanti has a whole cluster of decent dessert shops. Something to do with all the cram schools, maybe? Anyway, one of the newer dessert shops looked promising, so I stopped by.

It’s slightly below street level, and there is a little cafe space inside, but it’s full once two people sit down, so it’s mostly a takeout place.

Financier

Not bad, but when it comes to financiers, I don’t think I’ve found anywhere that beats Hugo & Victor yet.

Overall it feels like a shop optimized for Instagram. If I ever need to buy a cake I might end up back here.. though who knows when that’ll be..
