After arriving in Oarai, we visited an aquarium called Aquaworld. Maybe because it was Golden Week, though, the traffic was completely jammed..

It looks amazing on video.. but in photos it’s hard to tell.. More than anything there were lots of big sharks, but I don’t have any shots of them..

It’s no Churaumi, but for the Tokyo area it’s a pretty decent aquarium. The problem was there were just way too many people, so I don’t think we really got to enjoy it properly. Next Golden Week I’ll have to plan around the crowds..
