Near Asakusa there’s a shop serving a rather unusual ramen.

There was nothing like this back when I lived in Asakusa; the area keeps developing.
There’s even an explanation in English..
I guess that’s what happens when a place does well..
Rich chicken broth ramen
Out came a mysterious blue ramen. It looks like shio ramen with food coloring added, but either way, what a visual. The taste was a perfectly orthodox tori paitan.
The noodles
The noodles are blue too. Honestly, without the color this would have ended up as just an ordinary, if high-level, ramen shop, but the fun concept makes even someone living far away like me come all the way out here on purpose. Just how far is Japanese ramen going to evolve..
