I heard there was a place in Omotesando that does great tempura, so I went to check it out.
First off, the interior alone wins you over.
Very Omotesando.

They bring each piece over as soon as it comes out of the fryer.
Being a Hakata place, there’s mentaiko on the side…

The pieces were huge and really fresh.
Burdock, eggplant, purple sweet potato
Pork and so on…
It’s a bit pricey, but the portions are really generous. I guess that’s just how this neighborhood is.
