Rojiura is a fairly well-known izakaya in Shinagawa. It is famous for its spicy gyusuji nikomi, simmered beef tendon.

It is near Shinagawa Station, but really tucked away deep in a back alley.
Spicy gyusuji nikomi
Spicy and sweet. A bit like a Baek Jong-won restaurant, you could say. It is an addictive kind of flavor, which is probably why it has its fans. The generous portion for the price is a plus too.
The teishoku set
I ate well. That said, the restaurant name is completely Japanese, yet the staff inside were all Chinese or Nepalese. Well, as long as the food is good, that is all that matters.
