On the way back from L’atelier de Plaisir I made a quick stop at Komaba-Todaimae. There was one more place I wanted to see.
An ultra town
This is Soshigaya-Okura Station, said to be the birthplace of Ultraman.

I just dropped in while passing by, but the presence of this place is no joke.

The main Seikotei shop turned out to be much smaller than I expected. Maybe there was no need to make a special trip for it.

I had no idea the University of Tokyo was in this neighborhood, but once inside, it is really well kept.

The buildings are so well done. It got me thinking that this is how education ought to be.
And so the Setagaya trip I had planned came to a safe end.
The haul from Seikotei
It is a picture book, and it is just gorgeous. You could call it an illustrator’s collection. They sold cups too, but they were a whole 2,500 yen..
