I had some business in Asakusa, and while wandering around hungry I spotted a place that looked pretty good, so I went in.

The great thing about this place is that you get to choose two dishes. Up to now, a 1,000 yen lunch has almost always meant picking just one dish, but here you get two. You could honestly call it a revolution.

Main: pork

Both the portion and the taste are perfect. It’s hard to believe this is 1,000 yen.

Drink

Even the drink is included in the 1,000 yen. Where on earth is Japan’s restaurant industry heading..
