I heard a rumour that Daikanyama had a great burger, so I rushed over.
Lovely May weather.
The front entrance
Daikanyama isn’t that big a neighbourhood, so I found it right away.
Drinks
It feels like a takeout-only place, but there are four seats to eat inside, and if you tell them in advance they time the cooking to when a seat frees up. Turnover is fairly quick too, so it’s not a bad option. Most customers were eating outside, though.
Inside the shop
There are about four staff. It feels like they put a lot of care into the cooking.
The burger
The quality of the meat is really good. I think this might be the number one burger I’ve had in Tokyo.
The set
I found out later that it’s a burger joint run by a yakiniku restaurant. No wonder the meat is so good.
Cooking in progress
You can feel the expert touch. Next time I want to try it as takeout.
