Paris Ogawaken Salon de Thé in Shinbashi

Shinbashi is right next to Ginza, yet there’s hardly anywhere to sit down for dessert. Having Ogawaken here feels almost like a miracle.

It looks roughly like this.

ogawaken

It’s the place famous for Raisin Wich, their raisin sandwich cookies. I’ve never actually tried them, but they’re sold all over as omiyage gifts.

The entrance

ogawaken

The area around it is seriously, deeply middle-aged-salaryman territory.

It’s one drink per person minimum, and the only caffeine-free option was beer, so beer it was.

ogawaken

Surprisingly, it went really well with the dessert..

Roll cake

ogawaken

Really excellent, and the atmosphere is nice too. It’s a rare find in Shinbashi, so it’s worth keeping in mind; it might just come in handy for business.
