Tucked away in a corner of Shinbashi there’s a yoshoku (Japanese-style Western food) place, and it’s such good value that the lunchtime line is always long.

I originally meant to order the house specialty, the giant menchi-katsu, but it was already sold out. So I went with the assorted set instead. Bite-sized fried cutlets, greasy but tasty. The one in the middle is a pork sauté. If there’s a problem, it’s that the food is a bit too greasy…
