I came out to Ginza on the weekend, and after dithering over where to go I headed to Tokyu Plaza for a start. So many people. I wandered around the restaurant floor wondering what to eat, and there was a slightly unusual restaurant, so I went in.
The restaurant floor
It’s clean and tidy, but there were so many people it was pretty hectic. About halfway along there was a Hawaiian restaurant.
Appetizer
It was just okay.
Acai bowl
An acai bowl is pretty hard to get wrong.
Pork & cabbage
Well… not bad. I remember it being a bit salty…
Surf & turf
The portion was a bit small, so I ordered another one. Taste was so-so…
Pancake
This pancake was tasty. The portion was substantial too, so I was satisfied. But then…
The menu
Turns out the pancake comes pizza-sized… What I’d ordered was the small one that comes with the set. Given the taste, it deserves to be their signature dish, but a size like that I’d never seen or heard of…
Anyway… my conclusion is that it’s a good place for cafe fare, but a bit iffy for an actual meal.
